Contrap Unit is an ideal equipment for removal of waste from pulpers. It can used in conjuction with Horizontal or Vertical Pulpers.The Contrap conveys the mixture of fibers and trash to vibrataing screen. The stock passing through vibrating Screen is usually returned to the Pulper. With the use of Contrap, the impurities are separated continuously without interrupting the slushing proccess of pulper and as such a constant slushing is achieved.

Contrap CTS in normally adopted at the down stream of the High Consistency Pulper which act as a Screen. It's purpose is to remove coarse contraries both light weight & heavy weight.
The slushed stock from High Consistency Pulper is diluted and fed to Contrap CTS. TheRotor is designed to creat high turbulence inside the Contrap CTS which helps in separating coarse contraries from the fibre suspension. The accept pases through the screen box of the Contrap CTS. The coarse contraries which accumulates inside the Contrap CTS are discharged by flushing out from the reject line located at the bottom for heavy rejects and top for light rejects.
